Key Responsibilities:



To plan, co-ordinate, lead and manage the activities of the Operational Quality Section within the Value Stream 4, to ensure that all the relevant process raw materials, intermediates and final products are manufactured, tested and released in full compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements that meet the defined quality standards.


To operate within the framework of safety, occupational hygiene, responsible environmental protection and in cognizance of the dynamic business environment.


Ensure that all attributes / elements contributing to product release decisions have been fulfilled promptly in accordance with requirements.


Ensure shift-based oversight of facilities, equipment and personnel to ensure real-time compliance to procedures, instructions, data integrity (ALCOA+) and other cGMP requirements. This includes participation in Rapid Response approach to address deviations, with Operations, Engineering and Technical.


Review, evaluate and approve changes that have / could have an impact on product quality, these include changes to product specification, method of analysis, process, plant, raw material supply etc.


Lead or participate in investigations arising from customer complaints, returned goods or product failure etc., and accurately assess the impact of the complaints / failure so as to make appropriate recommendations on remedial actions for follow-up.

dedicated Programme Lead reporting to AMT in PTS and Jurong Technical Lead and include a team of scientific project delivery roles reporting to the Programme Lead.


GSK is pursuing this venture because Singapore is a key region for implementation of the MTR due to the Jurong NPI facility and the Quality Road facility being located there. Jurong is a key site for implementation of continuous drug substance manufacturing and is currently industrialising the Continuous FP project. Quality Road is industrialising the Enzymatic Amoxicillin project, which is part of the expansion of synthetic biochemistry.


The program areas would initiate in the Seek and Incubate phase however, if successful they would progress towards industrialization within Jurong and Quality Road, and in due course into the broader network.


Your key responsibilities are to focus on conducting seek, incubation and industrialisation activities to develop and provide novel technology solutions.


• To identify business cases and outline their cost-analysis through strategic proposals

• To engage with and persuade C-level executives

• To perform rigorous requirements elicitation and conduct robust literature reviews to evaluate existing off-the-shelf solutions and research efforts.

• To undertake careful identification and selection of hardware/software to make informed recommendations. When required, to act as a technical representative in vendor meetings to evaluate potential solutions.

• Forge strategic relationships with external institutions.

• To identify internal/external partners, liaise with GSK procurement and legal advisor team to establish new contract agreements with fair claim to intellectual property

Online Testing


As part of our selection process we may ask you to complete between one and three online assessments. You will receive an email from us with a link to a personalized ‘my assessment’ homepage where you can access your first assessment. Please note, you will be given 72 hours from receipt of this email to complete your first assessment. If you don’t complete the assessment within 72 hours, it will expire and your participation in our selection process will come to an end.

We would like to advise you to review your email daily to check whether you have been sent your first assessment.


Timeline & Assessment Process


Our robust recruitment process includes online application, online testing, video interview and assessment centre.


Applications will close by the first week of October 2018.

Late submissions will not be accepted.

It is expected that our Assessment Centre will run on the first week of November.

Why You?

Basic qualifications:

• Degree in any disciple is acceptable

• Preference for Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering or Degree in Business with Major in Decision Sciences, Strategy & Policy, Operations Management or Strategic Management

• Minimum achievement of a Second Upper or GPA 3.0 and above

• No more than 2 years post graduate work experience

• Authorized to work within Singapore



Preferred qualifications:

• Location mobility is required and must be able to travel

• Strong leadership skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Good problem solving and analytical skills

• Good planning and organizational skills

• Responsiveness and resourcefulness
