About This Role:

WeWork is looking for a Construction Management Lead with excellent rise-assessment and communication skills to help manage a regional portfolio of projects.As a member of the construction team, the successful candidate will work with a project team (including peers in Building Information Management, Architecture, Art & Graphics, Engineering, Estimation, Logistics, Sourcing, and Interior Design) to support all efforts that go into building a WeWork space. Most of the focus of the Construction Management role is during the build-out execution, so a great deal of time will be spent on site reviewing plans and conditions with contractors, vendors, and other team members.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Facilitate the review of project scope with design teams (both internally and externally) to ensure an acceptable level of coordination is achieved before commencement of construction.

Coordinate the delivery of project scope that is directly procured by WeWork (particularly building signage). You will work directly with our Sourcing team to leverage our vendor network, and coordinate delivery of the identified scope.

Provide assessment of our trade partners to ensure a safe construction site, timely delivery of scope, and quality workmanship. Closely monitor and report on construction site activities throughout construction including verification of material delivery, detailed construction schedules, weekly work-plans, and manpower logs.

Assist in the delivery of a fully-commissioned, substantially complete, and clean WeWork Product to our Community team. You will work closely with an internal team of Logistics Specialists to ensure that a smooth handover is achieved and documented.

Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure receipt of the necessary financial, regulatory, and building utility documentation for use by other departments. During the Closeout period, Construction Specialists are also expected to provide support to Community as buildings become fully-operational.

Experience in on-site risk-assessment

Experience with direct construction site management

Ability to collaborate with drawing production teams to evaluate, identify and solve constructability issues

About This Role:
