Job Description:





Individual will be responsible for supporting state of the art proprietary applications provided to our Custody & Funds Services, Prime Brokerage and JP Morgan Markets clients. Interaction would be with financial institutions, traders, operations managers, compliance personnel and their vendors as well as internal groups including Client Service, Operations, Application Development, Operate and Product Management among others.




A need to understand client issues, application workflows, along with production support and AD escalations. Ownership of client issues from reporting through to resolution.




Provide technical support for various applications hosted on JP Morgan Markets portal, their functionality (Corporate Actions, Money Transfer, Trade Reporting, Settlement Exceptions, Transaction Execution, Reporting, etc.) and the information (Transaction, Position, Balance, P&L, Exception, etc.) they provide




Documenting the details of the client or vendor experience and following the issue through resolution if it needs to be escalated. Heavy client and inter-departmental interaction, via an ACD telephone system and/or via email, is required




Working hours would require shifts to cover client inquires within the APAC region. Some weekend and Bank holiday cover would be required.

: Over 80% of the inquiries require detailed analysis and an understanding of how the issue is impacting the user/client and the functions theyre trying to perform, determining how they are using our products and recommend alternatives, having a thorough understanding of how transactions are processed (end to end), understanding how entitlements are established and maintained, and finally understanding how transaction data (reports/files/applications) is presented and distributed to determine the appropriate course of action to pursue

The Operations Manager (OM) reports to the Regional Operations Manager and is

Role Description:

The successful candidate will drive client solutions to meet client needs, new business development and manage the P &L for the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in the Asia Pacific region. This is our largest region by revenue and volume. The role partnering closely with the regional Financial Institution /Banks, Broker Dealers and non-bank financial institutions sales and service teams in order to streamline product promotion and implementation of new business whilst maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction for existing clients. Additionally the candidate will help deliver the broader business strategy, for example ensuring that the clearing products are futureproof. They will also manage their own P&L for their regional client bases, whilst supporting the day-to-day product management responsibilities across the team, which includes developing the solution set and client collateral, managing the risk and control agenda and following and implementing industry changes. The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of individuals focused on the sub-regions.

• Provide primary/first point of contact for regional FIG sales teams

The Corporate KYC Operations works closely with the Global Financial Crimes Committee (GFCC) and Lines of Business (LOBs) to implement and operate a sustainable and scalable operational process supporting clients along the Know Your Customer (KYC) lifecycle. This includes functions such as data collection, completion of the KYC profile, client screening, targeted local language and English language research, comparing and analyzing client profiles across all lines of business and quality assurance. This team will also produce metrics around the work they perform.

The KYC Utility will promote further centralization and consistency of operational KYC activities across all LOBs. This role will provide the opportunity to work in a fast paced dynamic team and to help implement best practices within JP Morgan.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of the KYC Manager is to oversee a team of KYC Operations Analysts and Associates to ensure all client KYC records are compliant with regulatory standards, and to drive high quality and timely completion of all client-level due diligence requirements at the onset and renewal of client relationships.

The KYC Operations Manager must have excellent customer service standards to define, analyze, and resolve inquiries and escalations and must be able to closely manage day to day operations of the team/department. The KYC Manager must proactively and strategically improve processes to ensure team members are high performing and meeting the firm wide quality standard.

Responsibilities

•Understanding and implementation of KYC standards, guidelines, policies and procedures

•Performance management & overall development of employees within their assigned team

•Perform day to day management of a team of KYC Operations Analysts and Associates (Maker/Reviewer), including coaching and providing ongoing performance feedback

•Conduct analysis of daily, weekly and monthly metrics to track performance of individual team members over time to evaluate performance, learning, and competencies

•Effectively address any issues that might be escalated by either internal or external customers

•Identify special training needs that may benefit team members to increase efficiency and quality

•Proactively highlight potential issues to regional and global management

•Drive Process improvements and implement process changes as necessary

•Minimum 10-15 years' experience in the Financial Services industry with a demonstrated track-record of delivery and/or relevant experience in Compliance, KYC and Screening, or Project Management

•Outstanding client management, partnership building, leadership and direct experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders at one time
