At Client Assets, we maintain the firm's reputation and clients' confidence by ensuring compliance with customer protection regulations as well as liaise with regulators and auditors during audit processes. Through the development, testing, and implementation of strategic technology and new business initiatives, we help ensure the adequacy of controls to mitigate financial, regulatory, and reputational risks for the firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS RESPONSIBILIITES

Ensure accurate segregation of client money and assets in order to be rule compliant and to operate in the best interest of the clients

Investigate and follow up on daily breaks arising from the segregation process and maintain good audit trail

Support internal projects and business initiatives by providing regional client assets subject matter expertise

Work with business units across Operations to ensure better control and governance across Client Asset processes

Drive Client Assets initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy and control

New business facilitation through ad hoc work on firm wide projects around new processes or activities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required

Demonstrated team working skills as well as excellent communication skills

Attention to detail and good follow up skills

Ability to demonstrate initiative and ownership of issue resolution

Self-motivated, driven to achieve and able to manage pressure and prioritize multiple tasksPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Fluent in both spoken and written Japanese is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Client Assets / Client money experience is also preferred but not mandatory

Job Summary




This role is for a team of DevOps Engineers to add run-the-bank operational capacity to the TRAIN team to be able to support the 26 bi-weekly releases of the C/C++ and Java codebases present on the various TRAIN SDLCs.


Our build train is a collection of tools and scripts that have been engineered at Goldman Sachs. The build train is responsible for building and deploying our risk management systems on a regular basic. This role is to provide DevOps support and assistance to the build train.

The primary mission of Controllers is to ensure that the firm meets the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated and public financial institution.

The Legal Entity Controller team is responsible for the financial and regulatory reporting functions for the firm's various subsidiaries in the Asia Pacific region.

Primary responsibilities include:

Maintain the books and records for the firm's subsidiaries

Prepare consolidation reporting packages under US GAAP

Prepare financial statements under relevant local GAAP

Prepare regulatory and statistical returns to regulators and government agencies

Ensure that control standards are maintained and documented

Work closely with other areas within Controllers, both in Singapore and globally, as well as with other divisions

Participate in cross-divisional projects for new business initiatives

Develop a broad understanding of the securities and banking business and financial products

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience

Qualified accountant

Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
