Responsible for the suite of regional applications in UOB Core Banking and Credit Cards domain

To build and maintain strong technical and support capability in the “run the bank” organisation in support of high level of services

Job Requirements

Head of Level 2 Application Production Support with people management responsibility.

Stakeholder management of senior management teams from application, business, infrastructure, security, and operations

Lead cross functional teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate complex incidents and deep underlying issues

Performance analysis and fine tuning of real time and batch systems

Drive change management and change readiness discipline. Establish operational readiness process of new products / applications / flows. Drive non-functional requirements discipline.

Own and manage production defect changes and work closely with Development teams to provide strong governance for control for the applications in scope

Manage vendor senior stake holders and drive prioritization of issues, continuous service improvement, process improvement, cost management and audit issues. Conduct service review and track SLAs adherence from vendors. Manage a workload which is subject to changing priorities and demands

Ensures essential process / procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards. Drive the change in culture to ensure Production Support best practices is implemented while ensuring partnerships with developers and business partners are strengthened.

Execute continuous service improvement plan, process improvement and automation

Coordinate senior stakeholders between various teams like Infrastructure, Development team to resolve, analysis of root cause for complex issues and outages

Work across multiple application management areas and support teams to ensure high level of support service.

Work closely with 1st & 2nd level support and development teams to ensure team is meeting the business’ requirements. Ensure team delivers on these priorities and communicated progress effectively to all stakeholders.

Follow through to ensure incidents and problems are resolved according to SLA.

Gain a strong understanding and keep abreast of Business requirements

Lead a team providing operational readiness support for technology changes, related to online banking channels, for business and operation users

Work closely with the Operations and Business teams on developing solutions, defining target operating model, and prioritizing changes for implementation

Recommend effective solution options that meet Operations/ Business expectations

Manage and lead governance/ working forums with stakeholders to provide operational readiness update on projects status, risks and issues

Define areas of High Risk in collaboration with Operations

Assign risk weightage to requirements

Tailor the testing strategy for the project to align to changing delivery paradigms

Act as an escalation point whenever a risk to meeting project timelines due to operational readiness activities is raised and provide support for risk/ issue resolution

Learn and master TOSCA tool which is a software testing tool used at UOB to design test cases and automate end to end testing

Deliver projects to agreed budget, timeline and functionality from inception through to post implementation review

Ensure smooth cutover for Operations, Business and other key stakeholders

Review and submit management reports

Lead human resource planning, development and staff management

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree

Experience in online banking channels is a must

Experience in managing medium sized team (10 to 20 people)

Able to take ownership of issues and take them to closure

Able to create effective work relationships across different levels of stakeholders from various disciplines

Detail and results-oriented and able to work independently within strict timeframes

Mature individual with strong leadership, influencing and problem resolution skills

Team member of information security risk assessment section with focus on project security risk assessment and application security area.

Develop, drive and constantly improve security review processes to identify the risk throughout the lifecycle covering different layers of technology architecture.

Lead the risk assessment, tracking and periodical review of the deviations identified during the ISRA.

Review individual projects as well as to assess overall security posture holistically. Work closely with business to ensure security is a priority.

Provide regular update to stakeholders about the risk identified during the ISRA process.

As security SME, provide advisory to rest of IT teams to strengthen security controls.

Maintain awareness of security trends covering both new threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safe guard the organization.

Evaluate security solutions/processes when necessary.

Job Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related discipline

At least 12 years of IT experience, in which over 6 years are in the capacity of information security risk assessment or security architecture, preferably in a large BFSI environment.

Deep understanding of most of security technology domains.

Solid application security know-how, preferably banking applications.

Familiar with the regulator requirement related to the information security areas.

Good understanding of the key aspects of IT which includes strategic planning, application implementation & support, IT Infrastructure, Vendor & Contract Management, IT audit, IT governance, Risk management and business continuity planning.

Proficient in risk management concept and practices.

Keep up-to-date knowledge of security trends.

Ability to lead change, and to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Ability to identify and improve on work & process inefficiencies.

Relevant certification such as CISSP, CSSLP, CISA, SANS, Microsoft, ITIL Foundation, would be advantages.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and meticulous attitude.

Able to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities

Participate in the research and development of the Bank’s credit stress testing framework and methodology

Perform regular bank-wide credit stress tests as part of Basel Pillar 1 and ICAAP/Pillar 2 requirements

Involve in the system automation of stress test execution in SAS platform

Review, enhance and maintain the Bank’s credit risk economic capital model

Assist in ad-hoc credit risk related assignments and projects

10) Ensure completeness of loan documentation before drawdown & disbursement of loans

11) Ensure compliance with Bank's policies and procedures, credit control procedures, operational controls and audit requirements.

12) Ensure strict compliance with Banking Secrecy guidelines.

13) Ensure adherence to Bank's operating procedures and compliance with all internal controls, policies and guidelines of all loan transactions.

14) Assist department on adhoc projects or attend adhoc project meetings for new product development, new system or operational procedural changes

Job Requirements

1) At least 2-3 years of banking operation experience in company credit and loan operations.

2) Relevant experience in credit control, credit compliance review per credit policies, security documentation and perfection review per legal guidelines, legal conveyancing, facility limit management and collateral processing.

3) Fresh graduates may be considered for the position [preference for graduate with relevant experience].
