• Review the Contractor’s process for ensuring that assigned inspectors utilize only approved drawings and data sheets for final acceptance inspections prior to releasing items for shipment then turnover to the site

• Attend selected inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) or Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for critical equipment and materials.

• Monitor Contractor’s quality management of logistics activities. (packaging, handling, storage and preservation)

• Review selected supplier final data dossiers to ensure all required information is being included and the data is formatted correctly in accordance with contract requirements.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience executing project construction or quality assurance/control of engineering, procurement, and construction activities

Minimum 5 years of experience associated with Quality Management and coordination of quality activities is required

Extensive knowledge, skill and experience in construction activities is required

Trend and report Quality systems related information (deviations, investigations CAPAs, etc.), and prepare and compile statistical quality data for updates and project status reports on site’s quality performance in Quality review.

Conduct audits (Internal, Vendors, Suppliers, Sub-Contractors Testing Facilities, and Clinical).

Ensure oversight of the manufacturing activities.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline.

Must have at least 3 years of Quality Assurance work experience in a GMP environment, preferably in the biotech or pharmaceutical industries is preferred.

Have experience with implementation of corrective action programs and quality inspection.

Strong working knowledge of the PIC/S GMP Guidelines, US Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), European Union (EU) regulations, and the International Council for Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH).

Knowledge of quality management tools (including Lean Six Sigma), concepts and methodologies of QA would be advantage.

Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Degree or Masters in Marine or Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 5 years of engineering design experience in marine environment preferred

Experience in Vessel Repairs and Conversions projects will be advantageous

Possess man management experience to manage a team that consists of Principal Engineers and Senior Engineers

Experienced in managing client’s expectations and offer engineering solutions on site with off site support from OEMs

Willing to work in Changi
